Gather. Build. Launch.
Robotics. Engineering. Coding. We gather curious kids, hand them real tools, and watch them build the future, one robot at a time.

Our Mission
Atlanta Robotics Kin is on a mission to gather curiosity and build something with it, through robotics, engineering, coding and AI, and hands-on STEM. As the umbrella organization of ATOM Robotics and EVE Robotics, we launch students ages 12 to 18, regardless of background or access, into technical skill, creative confidence, and lasting community.
Our Vision
We envision a Metro Atlanta where robotics isn't the exception, it's the expectation. Where a student's next big idea is only a Saturday build session away, no matter which neighborhood they call home.

Who We Serve
The full ecosystem behind Atlanta's next generation of innovators. Whatever the entry point, everyone who joins ARK becomes part of the Kin.
Students ages 12-18 | From first builders to competitive robotics veterans
Parents and Families | Including a strong and growing homeschool community
Educators | Looking for hands-on STEM curriculum and professional development
Engineers & Professionals | Seeking mentorship and volunteer pathways
Community organizations & Local Businesses | Building partnerships that strengthen Atlanta's STEM ecosystem.

Leadership

ARK was co-founded by a mentor with 17 years of experience across the FIRST community, guiding the launch of both ATOM Robotics and EVE Robotics from the ground up.
ATOM's co-founder is a former FIRST Robotics student turned coach, having come up through every level, from student to mentor to coach, and now holding a master's degree.
EVE's co-founder began her founder's journey in the 8th grade. Now a senior in college studying mechanical engineering, she still mentors the team remotely.
What We Offer
Every program is designed around one principle: students learn best when they own the process, not just follow instructions.
ATOM Robotics is ARK's FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team, where students take a robot from concept to competition. Members learn CAD design, mechanical build, programming, and strategy, while developing the teamwork and problem-solving skills that carry far beyond the field. ATOM is where curiosity turns into engineering instinct.

EVE Robotics is ARK's all-girls program, spanning two levels: a middle school FTC team since 2015 and a high school FRC team since 2019, the longest-running all-girls FRC team in Georgia. Together, they build a full pipeline keeping girls in STEM, start to finish.
Our Home

ARK is proud to call the Johnson STEM Activity Center home, founded by Dr. Lonnie Johnson, NASA engineer, Super Soaker inventor, and holder of over 150 patents. It's a fitting company for a program built on curiosity and hands-on learning.
